Leggz Ltd. Dance Artistic Director Joan MacNaughton and the 2008 Walt Disney World Dancers were honored on Monday August 4, 2008 by the Rockville Centre Mayor Mary Bossart and the Village Board. The ceremony proclaimed the group as "The Ambassadors for Rockville Centre". 

     Because this is a highly respected touring dance group, the Mayor felt that the Leggz dancers deserve to be recognized by their very own home town.  “If the entire East Coast recognizes these dancers, then the Village of Rockville Centre should too!!!” 

     Wow, what a great feeling to be honored for doing something you love – dance!
