“Brush Em Up Project” is a touring road show promoting dental awareness to youngsters throughout the East Coast.   On July 30, 2009, the dancers were scheduled to perform 2 stage shows.  To their surprise, News 12 AND Long Island News Today BOTH were on hand shooting the entire show, interviewing the performers, and follow them throughout their day.  The news stations wanted to see what a day is like for “Brush Em Up Project”.

Joan MacNaughton, Director of Leggz Ltd. Dance in Rockville Centre, New York, is the choreographer/director and Amy Goldin wrote the music and script for the show that is supported by the American Dental Association.  The dancers from Leggz Ltd. sing, dance, act and tell jokes during this half-hour show geared to youngsters.

The Leggz Ltd. Dancers have been touring with this stage show for about one year.  They were even more thrilled to perform the show for the television cameras!  Ken Grimball from News 12 told the girls “You had me smiling and tapping my toes the entire show.  I want to be in the show too!”  Ken made their day!
