Leggz Ltd. Dance and the Rockville Centre Guild for the Arts had the audiences on their feet for this wonderful holiday tradition – The Nutcracker! 

Held over two weekends, each performance was sold out, and with  standing ovations!  The audiences were delighted by the many professional guest artists and the local young dancers from the greater metropolitan area.    The Leggz Ltd. Nutcracker is an annual holiday treat for thousands of ballet enthusiasts.  Under the Artistic Direction of Joan MacNaughton, this classic not only features professional dancers, but, is the ONLY full length Nutcracker Ballet on Long Island with a live orchestra!  The South Shore Symphony played beautifully under the baton of Wayne Lipton.  What a delight!  The orchestra is a full 70 piece member and the ballet had a cast of over 100 dancers!  This makes this Nutcracker not only unique because of the orchestra, but the size of the cast too!  

Not only did audiences get wowed in person, but, the local school and village television stations aired the entire performance on Fios and Cable, every day, four times a day, beginning on December 22 through January 4^th!  So if you missed the live performance, you could watch it on your television!  

The Leggz Ltd. Nutcracker left everyone with visions of Sugar Plums dancing in their head!
