Sam Carrel of Lynbrook, New York and Stephanie Koutsoukos of Malverne, New York were selected out of countless New York Hip Hop Dancers that auditioned to be the special guests for the "Kirstin E. Williams' Strong Current Dance Company" performance at the Merce Cunningham Theatre in New York City. The girls auditioned on Friday May 10,2002 and were immediately chosen to be two of only eight dancers to be featured in the companies New York City performances. After their audition, they were immediately sent into a rehearsal hall to learn the choreography with Strong Current lead choreographer Kirstin E. Williams.

The girls study dance at Leggz Ltd. Dance in Rockville Centre New York and are members of the Leggz Ltd. Dance Ensemble. They perform annually with the Leggz Ltd. Dance Ensemble at Walt Disney World, Six Flags, Hershey Park, The Orange Bowl Half Time Show and many other venues through out the year.

The Strong Current Dance Company is a professional San Francisco based Modern dance company that has been reviewed in every major dance magazine and in every major newspaper. The Sold Out performances were held at the Merce Cunningham Theatre In New York City on May 17, 18 and 19. The girls were featured soloists through out the show and impressed all the professional dancers from San Francisco. This was a wonderful achievement and an unforgettable experience that so many dancers only dream of and can never accomplish.
